Marc Kinchen, known as MK, is a Detroit-born producer and DJ whose work in the early 1990s helped shape the sound of US house music. His soulful, vocal-driven edits and remixes, including his rework of Nightcrawlers' "Push the Feeling On," became templates for the deep and garage house sounds that followed. Now based between the US and UK, he continues to release on his imprint Area10 and draw large festival and club audiences on both sides of the Atlantic.
